A 3-hour women's specific self defense workshop, taught by Wes Manko. Learn defenses against 33 of the most common types of attacks.

April 21 from 1:00-4:00pm
*Must pre-register by April 7th**

Wes Manko is the owner and chief instructor of DEFENSEWORKS, an organization that provides self-defense training workshops to corporations, non-profits and individuals.  He is one of America’s foremost personal safety and violence prevention experts and is adjunct faculty at Mount Mary University where he teaches a class on woman’s self-defense.

A nationally published author his articles have been published in numerous periodicals including, Black Belt Magazine, Woman’s Self-Defense Magazine  and @LAW.  He has also provided expert advice on several local television and radio programs.

10 Year Anniversary!!!

10 Year Anniversary!!!

November 18th we have our 10 year anniversay celebration. Please RSVP with the number of people in your party that plan to attend. 

Here is the schedule of events for the November 18th celebration: 

4-5:00 pm - Run Without Running. A presentation by Nick Lynch and Dr. Jon Duris on functional training specific for running to utilize this winter so you can run better and more safely next summer. 

5-5:45pm - Group workout. All levels welcome. 

6-7:00pm - Tea meditation. Organic Japanese green tea prepared the traditional way, followed by a guided meditation. 

7-9:00pm - Party. We provide local and organic food and drink. 

Again, please RSVP so we know how many people to provide for. Feel free to invite as many as you would like. Just let us know how many. 

Thank you for your continued support. It's been a very successful 10 years and we're very happy in the present moment to be writing this event and planning the celebration for your enjoyment : )
